Evening primrose extract : The evening primrose plant, scientific name of Onethora biennis, is a plant of North American origin introduced to Europe in the 17th century for its recognized anti-inflammatory and skin regenerating effects appreciated by native Amerindians since ancient times. Evening Primrose extract is used in cosmetics for its varied applications, from anti-inflammatory, regenerating and sebum-regulating due to its complete chemical composition in highly beneficial products for the epidermis. It is an extract that contains: essential fatty acids such as oleic, linoleic, linolenic, aspartic, caffeic, ellagic and p-coumaric acids. It also contains amino acids such as arginine, cystine, phenylanine, glycine... Vitamin C and a balanced content of mineral elements present in all living organisms such as potassium, magnesium, manganese, iron, calcium and phosphorus.
