Let’s Join Together in a Verse of Happiness

Whilst I was at the beach last month I decided I’d set myself a daily task of writing a verse. What this task did was guide me to the people, places and pages that opened my heart to my blessings. Now what I’m going to do is share those blessings with you to urge you on in your own journey of happiness. So here it is – a list of the things that tickled my fancy last month. Oleeee! Here’s to being happy and healthy 🙂

Happiness is………….

Stomping through the snow alone,
Leaving footprints above the solid stone.

Standing on my head in yoga class,
Getting a new stamp to fill up my loyalty pass.

Strolling down the river path,
Feeling the energetic aftermath.

Massaging my Stoney feet,
Thanking them for bearing the solid street.

Walking through Barcelona,
Telling her……You know that I love ya.

Singing a song in my sleep,
Using it to give the garage a good ole sweep.

Bathing in sacred salts,
Sensing how negativity malts.

Reding good books,
Caring nothing at all about looks.

Reflecting on the full moon,
Knowing the best of life will unfold soon.

Dancing in the pouring rain,
Sliding around in my own sovereign reign.

Peering through the looking glass,
Noticing how the world can be so class.

Travelling around Wales,
Refusing to see a dream that fails.

Bathing in the sun,
Finding a soul that’s made for fun.

Writing in the garden,
Giving the wasps a golden pardon.

Taking a decent jog,
Removing indecent brain fog.

Meeting merry men,
Chatting because they make me feel zen.

Cooking in the kitchen,
Tasting the things I’ll soon be ditching.

Following a star,
Knowing that it loves me even from afar.

Eating banana bread,
Stopping to watch how decently I tread.

Wearing my denim shorts,
Using them for mega star sports.

Sitting next to the sea,
Being familiar with what she can see.

Preying every day,
Waiting for a villa to come my way.

Walking up a mountain,
Finding a dazzling open fountain.

Nursing my niece,
Enjoying her special masterpiece.

Laughing at life,
Using it to end a bitter strife.

Looking at a set of eyes,
Feeling that within them is a huge surprise.

Painting with a man,
Driving around in his hippy van.

Doing the arabesque,
Laughing at my niece who does it more picturesque.

Feeling like a Saint,
Deserving a place that makes me want to faint.

Playing with magic balls,
Healing the hearts iron gate walls.

Love from Anneka at Farmacia Barcelona
