Gautama Buddha taught me to inspect and respect my skin

Today is the day in the calendar that marks the birth, enlightenment and death of Gautama Buddha, a man whose teachings encouraged me to let go of my shadows this morning.

Incidentally, I felt inspired to inspect my skin and look within. As I saw my tea stained lips below my subtle hair flicks and noticed my fresh morning face without disgrace, I also found a dark circle that was there like a rehearsal.

My enlightenment came when I found that my shadows were hiding a wall that was ready to fall. Because beneath it all is a light that looks more than alright. It shines in the darkness and it glows with finesse.  It works every hour and it smiles like a flower.

It was a light that directed me to not only inspect but also to respect. So I took myself to respect with my favourite face wash and I saw how I awakened not only my skin but my love within.

Incidentally, this morning I learned that every dark shadow has a silver lining.

With that I thank Gautama Buddha for the teachings and I thank Farmacia Barcelona for the skin care that helps me to let go of my shadows and step into the light.

With love, Anneka
