We hold hands for International Women’s Day

I’m snowed in and I feel like Im part of the book from Stephen King. If you don’t know him, he is a real King where story telling comes in.

He titles the book Misery. But what a tripe destiny to be the one that is not free.

The plot thickens as the main character puts on her mittens and traps her favourite author and forces him to write for her.

But you see, the difference between them and me is that I’m here with my wonderful family. We are trapped together with the song of the feather that fell from the ether.

The song plays her own tune even though my nephew plays the piano bang out of tune but the song continues on with my niece and her special dancing shoes on. Then the song gives us a shocking test when my little brother comes along to jest and the song loves the fish stew that my mother can do. But the song sadly picks up its pace when the in-laws grab their coats and race, nevertheless the song plays a simple melody while my dad tells us of a mocking parody and the song comes along just fine when the grandparents join us on the other line. That’s when I saw that this post was in fact our finest host.

This post was entitled to be a dedication for #IWD. And then I realised that in fact, it is just that. Aren’t us females lucky when we can open our minds and see that it’s not just the ‘me’ that can help us to grow like when the males are in tow.

The he and the she and the her and the him make a wonderful phrase I have coined as ‘shim’. That is what it means to be a woman. The woman can live through the pain. The woman can seek and she knows she will gain. The woman can cook and she will never resort to the book that she once used for what she was taught. Because a woman will never use her name in vain. Not even when there is rain. The woman will call on shim when she wants to win.

We are united are we not? We are supported are we not? We are in it together are we not?

And even if she becomes snowed under in Barcelona, the wonder woman will never fold under, because Teresa will never surrender to the weather she will tender. She will always be there serving you with her good heart and he will never be out of steam with her dedicated team. The team that is not divided but the team that is in it together for the ride where we consider trust and pride.

And we hereby support #PressForProgress and #IWD for the greater good of humanity.

We wish you a happy destiny of your own version of the he and the she.

And may we congratulate @carlostalp for his excellent urban art hunting and his generosity in sharing his fine skills so that we can take pleasure in using them for this post. Thank you <3
